This CLE is an opportunity to introduce the Bar to the Kings County Labor Law Part, and specifically the Labor Law Mediation Settlement Part. The objective is to provide information about the mediation practices and procedures, and to hear a lively discussion about mediations generally from the perspectives of the judge, practicing attorneys, and a claims representative. The discussion will also touch on how to effectively prepare for a mediation in order to maximize the efficiency of this court-offered resource. Additionally, an update as to recent Labor Law developments will be provided.
