Panelist:  Brendan T. Fitzpatrick, Esq. -  Partner, Gerber Ciano Kelly Brady LLP

Mr. Fitzpatrick is chair of the Appellate Advocacy Practice Group at Gerber Ciano Kelly Brady, and one of the most prominent and prolific appellate litigators in New York State.  He has briefed more than 800 appeals, argued nearly 500, and achieved appellate reversal or affirmance for clients before all Appellate Divisions in New York State, the New York State Court of Appeals, and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.  He is a member of DANY’s Board of Directors, and a chair of its esteemed Amicus Curiae Committee.

Description:  This program will review significant recent caselaw relative to Labor Law § 240(1).  There will be a focus on trends of the New York Court of Appeals, and insight into its current views.
