7:30 p.m. -  Banquet Dinner honoring DANY Past Presidents;  installation ceremony;
                                                            presentation of John Moore Writing Award

Details -  DANY welcomes members and guests to attend this annual event which honors DANY Past Presidents for their leadership and contributions.  The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a one hour CLE course, titled 2018 Essential CPLR Updates, presented by David Paul Horowitz, Esq. of McNamara & Horowitz.  Topics include Court of Appeals guidelines for disclosure of social media, a new CPLR provision governing the admissibility of records obtained from a party adversary during discovery, new uniform Appellate Division rules, and a smattering of other topics.  A cocktail hour and banquet dinner will follow in this pleasant waterside venue.  The banquet dinner will include two new features this year, i.e. the installation of the current President and certain other DANY Officers and Directors, and the presentation of the John Moore Writing Award. 

Note:  The CLE Board requires that you be present for the entire program to obtain credit

                          1 CLE Credit will be granted in Skills
